Church of the Apostles
The Episcopal Diocese of Dallas and
Worldwide Anglican Communion
Church of the
Apostles is lcated in Coppell, TX, (a suburb northwest of Dallas)
and proclaims the Good News of Jesus Christ among the surrounding
cities of Coppell, Flower Mound, Carrollton, Farmer's Branch,
Grapevine, Plano, The Colony, Irving, Dallas, and beyond.
The word Episcopal literally means “having bishops.” In this Episcopal
Church, we remain solidly grounded in the traditional Word and
Sacraments — intentionally connected to other Anglicans throughout
We support our
bishop in his vision to “guard the faith and pave the way.”
We pray daily for
healing — in body, mind, and spirit — for all those who request
it, and we believe that the Holy Spirit moves and works throughout
We are deeply
blessed by the presence of many members — originally from other
Anglican or Episcopal churches around the globe — with five countries represented here on any given Sunday.
seniors, recent believers to life-long Christians… Join us for
worship and prayer and the New Life God offers!
Apostles Seven Foundational Principles
Holy Spirit, you are welcome in this place!
Evangelizing, empowering, sharing ministry — here and abroad.
All ministry must arise out of the gifts and talents of the people.
Biblical, sacramental, growing in the Spirit.
The whole Gospel for the whole person.
God communicates with individuals in community.
We are called to surrender with joyful obedience not passivity.
“In fulfillment of his true promise, the Holy Spirit came down on this day from heaven, lighting upon the disciples, to teach them and to lead them into all truth; uniting peoples of many tongues in the confession of one faith, and giving to your Church the power to serve you as a royal priesthood, and to preach the Gospel to all nations.(from the preface to Holy Eucharist for The Day of Pentecost, Book of Common Prayer)
