The Church of the Apostles would like to thank all of our parishioners in Carrollton, Texas who come to pray with us each week.

The City of Carrollton is located in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth area and is a vibrant corporate and residential community. Carrollton's location and business cost advantages attract and support a diverse local economy. Over 5,000 businesses call Carrollton home. Manufacturing, construction trades and wholesale trades are some of the largest economic sectors as well as finance, insurance and real estate

Residents are drawn to the City for its high quality of life, abundant parks, schools and safe neighborhoods. In 2008, MONEY Magazine ranked Carrollton 15th in the country as the Best Place to Live and Forbes Magazine recently ranked Carrollton #12 for "America's Best Places to Move."

Carrollton is home to Baylor Medical Center at Carrollton.  It is a fully-accredited, full-service, 237-bed acute care facility. The Center also includes 24-hour emergency services, a Weight Loss Surgery Program, Senior Health Care Center, Center for Breast Health, Asthma Center and a maternity program, among other program and care features.

Carrollton is also served by two LTAC (long term acute care) hospitals:

  Regency Hospital of North Dallas

   Select Specialty Hospital-Dallas.

Carrollton is in close proximity to a number of the Dallas area world-class hospitals.

With more than 1,230 acres of developed park land, Carrollton's park land per capita is one of the highest in the Metroplex. The City of Carrollton's parks and recreation facilities include two recreation centers, two swimming facilities, a senior center, homestead museum, tennis center, and an amphitheater. In addition, there are playgrounds, playing fields, hiking and biking trails, and picnic areas scattered throughout the city. Two 18-hole golf courses at the Indian Creek Golf Club in Carrollton have been rated among the top municipal golf courses in the state. Additional facilities include two recreation centers, two public swimming facilities and an amphitheater.
