Irving, Texas is a city located in within Dallas County. According to the 2010 U.S. Census, the city population was 216,290. Irving is within the Dallas–Plano–Irving metropolitan division of the Dallas–Fort Worth–Arlington metropolitan area, designated by the U.S. Census Bureau and colloquially referred to as the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

Irving, Texas is next to an international airport, which is between Dallas and Fort Worth, two of the United States' largest metropolitan cities, and this makes Irving, Texas one of the most convenient and accessible cities in the country.  It is an ideal location for business and leisure travel.
