Giving
blood is such an incredible gift - the gift of life. Jesus gave
all His lood to save us spiritually that we may live eternally with
Him and the Father. If you are able, please consider giving a pint
of your blood to physically save someone else. |
About
Church of the Apostles
The
Church of the Apostles is a dynamic, growing parish in Coppell, Texas.
Here you will find answers to your questions that will give you a sense
of who we are, what we believe, and where we are headed.
-
The
heart of our parish is the warmth and excitement of our joyous discovery
of fellowship with God and with each other.
-
We
are looking for spiritual and emotional growth as individuals, as
families, and as friends who are learning to love each other.
-
Our
faith is founded firmly on Holy Scripture. We believe that anything
that happened in the life and ministry of Jesus can happen today.
-
We
believe that people grow emotionally and spiritually at their own
rate and rhythm.

Apostles
Purpose
Reaching
out to share God's love, offering the Apostles' teaching and fellowship,
the breaking of bread and the prayers, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Church
of the Apostles is a member of the American
Anglican Council and the Network of Anglican Communion Dioceses and
Parishes.
The
ground you stand on is holy ground.
In
the springtime of their lives our children will say:
In this place my birth was celebrated,
and at this font I was baptized.
Here I rejoiced with the youth of my generation.
In this place I met Jesus my Savior.
and here I was confirmed.
Before this altar I stood on the day that I was married.
Here I worshipped with my family and friends.
Here, in the summer of my life
my own children were baptized.
Here in these very classrooms they went to Sunday School
and at this altar they were confirmed.
Here they were married,
and here they too baptized their children.
In this place I have celebrated my successes
and here I have been comforted in my failures.
In this place I said good-bye to my father
at the end of the twilight of his years.
And here with mingled sorrow and rejoicing
I said good-bye to my mother
knowing she is safe in the arms of her Lord
Who always meets us in this place.
Here in this place
at all the turnings of my life
I have met Christ Jesus my Lord.
Here, in this place,
now, in the autumn of my years,
I make my faith deep and pure
knowing that in this place,
I too one day will take leave of all who love me.
