Acolytes -Youth between the ages of 10-18 years assist the minister and chalice bearers during the Sunday services and special services. Contact the Church Office.

Altar Guild - Their purpose is to Manifest the presence of our Lord through the beauty of Holiness. They are to assure proper settings for the congregation to worship at ease. A member can express their Love for the Lord through the art and beauty of the Altar and Sanctuary. The preparation and care of sacraments, linens, vestments and all symbolic wares contribute to this rewarding ministry. Please contact Marilyn Marsh if you are interested in joining.

Benedictine FellowshipBenedictine Fellowship - St. Anthony of the Desert, our local chapter of The Companions of St. Benedict, meets twice monthly at The Church of the Apostles. A light lunch is provided at 12:45 p.m. followed by a Chapter Meeting at 1:30 p.m. featuring the singing of Benedictine Prayer Offices and a Meditation on various aspects of the Life of Prayer. While many of us are associated with St. Scholastica Monastery in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the Chapter is open to Oblates of other Monasteries, and to any others who wish to deepen their experience in the Life of Prayer. Christian Education (Sunday School - all ages, Children's Chapel, and Nursery) - Adults interested in teaching Sunday School or younger or older Children's Chapel, please contact Susan Deems.

Church Newsletter - This monthly publication communicates the life of our church activities and related events. Contact Jim Hazlett or Gayle Porter if you would like to help.

Communion Bread Ministry - This group is responsible for baking bread for all Eurcharist services. Contact Kat Puckett.

Daughters of the King - Lydia Chapter of Daughters of the King is a group of women living a Rule of Prayer and Service to our neighbors. We are women to whom parishioners can look for love and for help in time of need, loneliness or strangeness. We are women who work to spread Christ's Kingdom here on earth. We find the Order of the Daughters of the King to be a safe place in a busy world where we can be together and support each other in Christ's love. Monthly meetings are the second Thursday evening of the month at the church. Please contact Marilyn Marsh if interested in Daughters of the King.

Evangelism - Alpha Course and special events to evangelize to the community. Please contact the church office if you are interested in helping.

Jr. Daughters of the King - Elizabeth Chapter of Jr. Daughters of the King is modeled after the Senior Daughters of the King and is for girls ages 7 to 20 providing opportunities for girls to experience the joy of belonging to a fellowship in which love of God, others and self is the framework for their meetings, pastimes and ministry to others. The Order hopes to help each girl grow in her commitment to Jesus Christ and His church and, to become senior members of the the Order. Monthly meetings are at the church on Saturday afternoon. Lay Readers - These men and women represent the role of the disciples in Jesus' ministry. Lay readers read the Bible lessons . Volunteeers are needed to read the assigned Old & New Testament readings and the Psalm during services. Contact Gene Toye.

Meals for Members - This ministry supplies meals to those in need due to illness, family crisis, new baby, etc. Contact Gwen DiRenzo.

Member Services - Responsible for incorporating new members and visitors in the Apostles' family. Contact Carl Pellegrini.

Music Ministry (Choir & Music Teams) - The music ministry is comprised of volunteer musicians and singers who feel called to share their talents for the Lord. We currently have a band called "God's House Band" comprised of pianists, guitarists, a bassist, a drummer, a flutist and vocalists. Our purpose is to lead others into worship and to glorify the Lord. Choir rehearsal immediately follows the 10:40 a.m. service on Sundays. Order of St. Luke Ministry - Offers training in the healing ministry of Jesus. Contact Tom Russell.

Outreach Ministry - This group is responsible for incorporating newmembers and visitors into the Apostles family. Contact Patti McColgin if you are interested in this group.

Prayer Chain - Contact Bea Cutler.

St. Martha's Guild (Hospitality) - They are responsible for coffee and refreshments on Sundays between and after services and also plan special event meals. Contact Sharon Broussard.

Saturday Morning Men's Group - Meets each Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. at the Church to study, share, and pray together. Contact John Cervantes.

Sisterhood Women's Group - The ladies meet 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month from 9:30am-11:30am. Child care is provided. Contact Marian Switzer.

Social Responsibilities Ministry - This ministry focuses on community issues such as food & clothing drives, international relief efforts, etc. Contact Lisa Ferree.

Technology Committee - The church always needs people with computer skills in Microsoft software and repair maintenance. Contact the Church Office.

'Tween Club - 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders meet the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month from 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at various locations. Planned activities will be Bible focused, fun, and interactive. Contact Carmen Lowell.

Ushers and Greeters - These men and women welcome and direct you around the worship center. They also assist with the practical details of each Sunday service. People are needed to serve on Sunday mornings. Contact Blair Taylor.

Verger - A verger is a committed lay minister within the Church who assists the clergy in the ordering and conduct of public worship, especially in the marshalling of processions. Vergers can relieve the clergy of the burden of liturgical detail so that they can concentrate on their priestly duties to preach the Word and administer the Sacraments. Weekly Small Groups - Most of the 11 small groups meet on Wednesday nights at different parishioner's homes. Some groups do potluck dinner, but all have different Bible studies on various topics and books of the Bible. 7 pm to 9 pm - Bible study, sharing, and prayers. A wonderful way to get to know your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ; "Care Groups" have always been one of the most integral parts of our church at Apostles. Child care provided at church.

Worship Committee Ministry - Assists the priest in the planning and ordering of all worship services in the areas of music, acolytes, chalice bearers, altar guild and ushers. If interested in participating in any aspect of worship ministry please contact the office.
